A squeeze page is the page you create to get users to subscribe to your list or pre-sell the product of an affiliate. It consists of some ad copy (to sell the product or get the user to subscribe), and a subscription box. The page should be 1 to 2 page lengths long with the subscription form appearing above the fold (The visible part of the web page without scrolling).
What is a Sales Page?
The main goal of a sales page is to get the visitor to buy the product so it needs to be very convincing. Unlike a squeeze page that can be, one or two page lengths a sales page need to be much longer and the longer the better.
A squeeze page needs to consist of a headline, sub-headline and the benefits of the product or information. An image of the product or information is optional but you will get a better conversion rate if you use one.
A sales page also needs a headline and a sub-headline but it also needs more ad copy describing the product such as benefits and features.
